I think if you do a series of smaller nips and tucks that you're more likely to go overboard and cross the line. If you do fewer bigger ones, you're apt to end up like Kenny Rogers. There's a fine line that most celebrities all seem to cross.

I think men are less vain than women, so less likely to go over-the-top on plastic surgery (excluding Michael Jackson and Mickey Rourke). Also there's far less pressure for men to look perfect and youthful forever in the entertainment industry as opposed to women. Women get surgery much earlier too.
